The emblem of the Hotel Relais Sant'Eligio in Ostuni represents two rampant lions next to a well with pulley and bucket. They are the symbol of the refreshment and food tradition of the ancient Resting Station. The gastronomy is full of traditional flavours, colours and aromas, typical of the Mediterranean diet. This is also achieved by authentic products from Ostuni and Apulia.
When we came in the Hotel there where (and off season) almost no bookings. Without asking we got the opportunity for an upgrade; a bigger room outsite the Hotel with view on sea and city. We stayed t nights and the service was top, staff very friendly and helping with tips for restautants and so on. Breakfast was superb, and we had a very pleasent stay in Ostuni...
from - Cofer123Great stay, lovely staff, rooms and breakfast, everything was great. Room was new, fresh, modern and clean, brilliant shower. Busy with large cycle groups staying who were a bit noisy. 15 minutes walk into the historic centre, this is uphill, but not too challeging, and it was good to be staying away from the old town centre, and the views to the town were great.
from - TravelTrax1If you are planning a stay in Ostuni, we would highly recommend this hotel. Excellent location, a short walk into town - it’s steep and there are steps but very manageable - and stunning views. So easy to locate from the airport , plenty of parking, coast less than 15 minutes away. The hotel is spotlessly clean , our room was fine, the breakfast room is stunning ! Sadly it wasn’t warm enough for us to use the many little terraces...
